La Junta Canyon Overlanding

We hit the dirt last weekend and explored La Junta Canyon, New Mexico

La Junta Canyon is located in Tres Ritos, along what's known as the Enchanted Circle in Northern New Mexico. Lower in the canyon are several campgrounds. Along the creek are a large number of sites for dispersed camping. Forest road 76 takes us through La Junta canyon, and up into the mountains, eventually coming out near the mountain town of Angel Fire.
