New Years trip to Cabezon and Guadalupe Ruins

We tried out the LF Bros diesel heater for the first time on this New Years overlanding trip

We couldn't think of a better way to ring in the new year than being out in nature exploring our beautiful New Mexican desert! We headed out to one of our favorite dispersed campsites on BLM land out by Cabezon peak and set up our new LF Bros diesel heater for the first time. We sure stayed toasty up in the tent with the heater, but when we woke up in the morning every single drop of water and bit of food we had brought was frozen solid. After we got thawed out in the morning we drove out to the Guadalupe Ruins and had a beautiful New Years Day hike.
